ABOUT ME
Hear, here!
I am a trained musician, having received my BA in Music from University of California, Berkeley, with cello as my primary instrument. In school, my limitless curiosity about music led me to subjects from Stravinsky to Gamelan, and I honed key skills in composition and electronic music production.
Since 2011, I’ve applied those composition and production skills to visual media, making music for short films of various genres. In film, I find inspiration both small and large: seeking opportunities to reflect visual movement with musical motifs, while always centering the main themes and feel of the film. I have taught myself sound design and foley and am eager to work more in post-production for Film, TV and Commercial projects.
For over seven years, I worked on the Music Analysis team at Pandora. In this work, I help fuel Pandora’s recommendation engine by providing sophisticated musicological data. This put me on the forefront of contributions and trends in Pop, Rap and Electronic genre spaces.
While working at Pandora, I founded a music and culture presentation series called "Pop Up Sessions," where Pandora's 6000 employees were invited to participate in deep dives into topics of music trends, culture and history.
